We are Phoenix Planning. Founded in 1996 by Stephanie Laylon and Art Quinion, we are a small, woman owned business, conceived to meet the needs of clients who are tired of being “just another job.”  Our Principals who, with over 60 years combined experience, are not only the project managers, but also do the actual design work provide personal attention to every project. This close relationship and focused level of scrutiny ensures quality, prompt attention, and adherence to program, budget and schedule. Our client’s deadlines and building needs matter to us.
 
We provide full service architectural, cost estimating, and planning services for clients in both the public and the private sector. Our Principals are experienced in municipal, commercial, recreational, healthcare, industrial, institutional, educational and military projects. We are adept at special programming techniques which give all project participants the opportunity to be heard. We focus on listening to our clients’ needs and converting them into programmable elements with your budget and space considered. Our philosophy is that a project’s success lies in the complete integration of the owners, design team, and the users. The end result is an original, workable composition of ideas, not a stock, canned product.
 
With one Principal an architect and one a cost estimator, our focus is on developing the maximum project design with an identified, viable budget. We listen and translate user concerns into accurate estimates and aesthetically pleasing cultural designs.
