Miramar Marine Corps Air Station - Airman Memorial Chapel
San Diego, CA
Originally designed by renowned Architect Richard Neutra and built in 1957, Phoenix Planning was tasked with upgrading and refreshing the chapel while preserving the historical context of the building.
New lighting, doors, and finishes gave a fresh vitality to both the interior and exterior of the building. An expansion to the Chapel Annex added needed space for church activities.
