Renovations to the Flight Simulator Building upgraded the security features to bring the facility into compliance with military requirements that include infrared sensors above ceilings and below raised floors.Biometric locks, security bars in ducts, crawlspaces and vents, and other security clearance only strengthening enrichments were among the new security measures installed.In addition the building was modernized for interior finishes and ADA accessibility compliance with modifications to the floor plan for better functional use.  Although the project was not submitted for LEED Certification, part of the project requirements included designing to LEED standards and providing documentation for possible credits.
